Room 6 talked about what it is to be a successful learner. We decided that we would work together like we are rowing in the same direction in a Waka. We then drew shapes representing our personalities and what we thought was a successful learner. We put all of these thoughts into the Waka.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to think of a waka as an image of you as successful learners. I can see some of the paddles in the image. I found this school who are using the waka image as well. http://www.riwaka.school.nz/ I wonder if they have anything on their blogs about their waka learning?
